Frequently Asked Questions

  • What happens during a session?

My priority is to listen to you and we’ll go at a pace you’re comfortable with. My role isn’t passive though, and I will guide and encourage you as we explore together. I will always be led by your agenda.

  • How many sessions will I need?

You don’t need to decide this upfront and we can work together for as long as you need. There’s no commitment to stay with me for any length of time so you’re in control of the process.

  • What are your fees?

I charge £75 per session. Sessions are 50 minutes long and usually take place at the same time each week.

  • What does integrative mean?

My training and approach is integrative which means that I have experience with a variety of therapeutic models and theory. The benefit of this is that I can tailor my approach according to your wishes and needs.

  • Where are you based?

I offer in person sessions from a private garden office in Charlton (SE7) on Mondays and Tuesdays, and Haggerston (E8) on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. I also work online at other times during the week.

  • What is an assessment?

Our first session together will be a chance for us to meet each other and for me to hear what brought you to therapy. You can ask any questions about my approach and the process to see if I’m the right therapist for you.
